WHO IS THE CLASS FOR?
This class is recommended for anyone who wants to start roasting. This class was designed to provide an entry into roasting coffee. It’s for the students who aren’t ready for an intensive course but they want to get started on their journey to roast coffee.
The aim of this course is to focus on the practicality of roasting. We want you to get your hands dirty and teach you through doing. In each exercise we will have a teacher who will focus on making sure you learn each objective.
WHAT IS TAUGHT?
This class will include roasting theory and practical exercises. The class format is taught to give you a cmoplete overview of the roasting process.
By the end of the class you will have touched on the main areas of roasting. Green analysis, roast profiling, quality control & brewing. You will be roasting on the day and at the end of the class we will also analyse how different roast profiles taste through different brew methods.
